Acting as the Director of Design and Construction, a principal of Upton+Partners was responsible for the public permitting, environmental approvals, the design and the construction buy-out of the BCEC. A fast-track transformational project in the Seaport District of Boston, the BCEC is one of the largest single public facility projects ever built in the City of Boston under public funding with a budget of $850 million.
