Faneuil Hall Marketplace

A principal of Upton+Partners acted in the capacity of Project Manager for this iconic festival marketplace redevelopment project, establishing a new momentum for future development in the Government Center of downtown Boston. The Quincy Market, North and South Market Buildings providing for food and specialty retail and upper level office space were developed in phases over a 4-year period.

Opening Day achieved 95% occupancy with completion on time and on budget. The project has received numerous awards including those from the American Institute of Architects, the Boston Society of Architects, the Urban Land Institute and others of national and international stature.
